A member of the Mysterious Clan, Kamikakushi is fond of all types of paper. When it finds something it likes, Kamikakushi takes it for its collection. It is especially fond of toilet paper and will steal whatever it can find of it. The name Kamikakushi is a play on 「紙」which means ‘paper, 「隠し」which means ‘to hide’ and the word ｢神隠し」which sounds the same and is often used to describe unexplained disappearances. ｢神隠し」means ‘to be spirited away, vanish.’
